Tabletop Candle Company is an idea that was brought to life during the untimely outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. For as long as I can remember, I have always been someone that has had an appreciation for fragrances, as well as an overall keen sense of smell. As a child I remember I was outside one day and I came across an old, empty perfume bottle. I thought to myself, "How cool! I should make my own perfume!" I spent the rest of the day scouring the neighborhood, determined to find pretty flowers and green grass that would ultimately become the ingredients to my perfume. After gathering the best looking materials I could source, I stuffed the flower petals and clumps of grass into the perfume bottle, muddled them together with a tree branch, and filled the rest of the bottle with water. With no direction from anyone, I had made my very own creation and I was so proud! It is with the same tenacity and appreciation for fragrances that I was able to create a brand of luxury candles that will hopefully become a household name.

 

Someone recently posed the question to me: "What makes a candle luxury?" I cannot speak to all candles that are labeled luxury, but what I can say about my brand is that there is so much love, passion, and detail that goes in to crafting each candle. Every single candle is hand-wicked, hand-poured, and hand-labeled personally and solely by me. Every scent is custom curated by me from a variety of premium fragrance oils and essential oils. The wax is a 100% all natural coconut based wax that is fortified with other natural and plant based waxes that help to provide a more clean, fresh, and even burn, a stronger scent throw, and an extended burn time. All candles are left to cure for a minimum of 1 week to allow time for the fragrance oils to evenly disperse and set into the wax, which further ensures a stronger scent throw. So, what makes my brand luxury is the quality and integrity of the process, products, and ingredients used, as well as the love, passion, and detail I put into every single candle.
